For many years, KD Bejds has established a close and good cooperation with the municipal environmental authorities, the Danish Labour Inspection Authority, as well as the Danish Technological Institute (BST) to ensure that environmental and work safety considerations are top-notch and in accordance with applicable regulations. Unfortunately, in recent years we have had to acknowledge that the requirements for the environment and work safety have been tightened, resulting in significant additional costs.
The environmental surcharge of 9% has remained unchanged since 2012, but the additional costs imposed on our industry in recent years have unfortunately outweighed the environmental surcharge that we have charged you as our customers over the last 6 years.
We regret to inform you that we are forced to increase the environmental surcharge by 3% with effect from January 1, 2018.
